Lost in History || Promise Ring

Friday, February 13, 2015

Today my Dad took my older sisters and I out for Valentines day! It was a surprise, so we had no idea where we were going. He brought us to an adorable Italian restaurant, it was such fun! I had delicious spaghetti and meatballs. After we finished eating my Dad surprised me by giving me a promise ring! I just love it, it's so beautiful!!!  :)

Next to the restaurant was an old antique shop. I took lots of photos, but decided not to make this too long of a post.. ;) Upstairs, there was an amazing library! There were old newspapers, and AMAZING books, it was so awesome! As I walked up the stairs, I noticed they were a little crooked, which kind of freaked me out..when I went down they creaked so loud, I don't like stairs like that.. ;)
Have a wonderful Valentines day everyone!

Do you have a promise ring, if so do you play with it?                                                                                                  What are your plans for Valentines day?

  1. How awesome, Sarah! It sounds like you all had tons of fun. :) That library looks so lovely. Oh and your promise ring is gorgeous!
And to answer your question, I do have a promise ring. Two. One is golden with a pink heart in the center and was given to me by of my relatives when I was a baby. The other one my mom and dad got me on my 16th birthday. I found it at a Celtic shop. It's silver with a little stone in the middle.
I'm probably going to spend time with my family and eat lots of chocolate this Valentine's Day. <3
    I hope you have a great Valentine's Day! :)

  4. Aww, I love libraries. They have such a "library" feel to them...if that made sense :) But the rows and rows of books are just so tempting to a book worm like me :D And that ring looks so good :)
