a concrete...something?

The other day we took  a walk..it was just so beautiful out! Of course, Macro came along. :) I've really been enjoying my camera, especially outdoors! :D I'm really looking forward to spring, then there will be things to take photos of other than snow covered objects.. ;) It's like, "Oh, let's take a photo of this snow, oh and look at this snowy ground, and OH look! Snow covered berries!" lol. I can't wait for summer and spring. Can you tell?

Okay, see that weird looking concrete thing? We still have no idea what it is..the door is sealed, there is a small hole in the top...we tried guessing but we couldn't think of anything! It sure it weird looking...have any ideas?

Also, I just joined a group of blog with some Christian girls! It's Girls Living for God's Glory, I'll be posting tomorrow, so check back to see my post then! ;)

Okay, I'm so excited. All the snow has melted. I repeat, it is all gone! I was able to open my window in my room, hear the birds chirping and make some paper beads today. :D I also went outside to play in our chalk village, ah, I'm feeling spring. I hope it comes soon. :)

Do you know what the concrete thing is?
Has the snow all melted for you?

  1. Very pretty pictures!

Hmmmm. Not sure. The fun thing about knowing what a strange object is is you get to imagine! Write a story about it. ;)

Ah, I can't wait 'till all the snow melts. We still have about a foot to go...it's getting warmer, though!!

It's all melted over here! Little green sprouts are beginning to pop through..I rode my bike yesterday! Yay! It was really warm here yesterday, it's a little colder today though. :P

    1. We thought that at first...but why would the weird entry way thingy be there?! hahaaa, I don't know if I would. It was really big, like 15 feet high. We tried taking a photo of the hole on the top, but it was just black. ;)

  3. We just checked today (we've been checking most days now) and finally all our snow is gone. Love the photo of the fence by the river. The concrete thing is interesting. I don't know what it is, but I wonder if it was a cellar, tornado shelter, bomb shelter (they were popular during the Cuban Missile crisis), or even an above ground grave or mausoleum.

    1. All our snow is gone as well! Yay! I'm hopeful. :) It was so beautiful, I was constantly snapping photos. I know..we thought that too but the weird door thing was sealed and it didn't even look like a door that could have been opened it was so weird, and the weird path..We weren't sure..Good ideas though!

  4. Not all of the snow has melted here yet. The concrete thing looks so cool! Honestly. There's a lot of stuff like that laying around where I live; we're not allowed to explore them. Although, there was this one time when there was this door in my neighbors house which my friends and I thought was a secret tunnel... it's a buried hole, but who knows... it could still be a secret tunnel, just covered up! I love the snow covered berries. ^.^

  10. I think thats really wierd, what could it be for? maybe there was a house or a building (Or a caslte!) once, and now all thats left is a door, Or, maybe it leads underground?

    1. It's Narnia!! I know it is. ;) It might lead underground, it's really big and like goes into a hill..perhaps it goes really far into the hill! *gasp* That would be SO neat! Too bad it's sealed..it's an underground tunnel that leads to Narnia! :D

    1. Thanks so much, Eve! hm, it could be..but usually those were made just out of wood with straw in the walls. It's kind of strange the way it was sealed off.. :) I know! Story coming on.. ;) Thank you!
