"beware of algebra" || the foreign language of anatomy

Friday, February 26, 2016

I'd advise you against helping a sibling study for an anatomy test...spare yourself of the embarrassment of even daring to utter such nonsense.
Seriously.
Why can't they make the words even slightly understandable?

Dear me people, algebra. For years I listened to all people complain of the thing.
"Beware of algebra."
"I about died from algebra."
"Wait until you get into algebra."
Quite daunting. Hm?
I'm here to give you some hope, people! It isn't that bad.
...And it isn't that great either. I can't say I enjoy it, can't say I hate it. There's a drop of hope for you. :P The problems aren't hard, my thing is the amount of math problems I get.
*dies* I calculated the problems....I have completed a total of: 1,704 math problems thus far.

...why must there be such a thing algebra II?

if you do algebra, do you find it hard?
do you enjoy math?

  1. I am not good at math at all! It is my enemy. Algebra, I'm glad I have already accomplished you. I didn't get the best grade, but I did ok. I'M STILL ALIVE!! I guess it did have its good times and bad times, but I didn't like it.

I really like your "stars, rain and bubbles". It's cute and simple:)

  2. I detest math. NO. History, art, even spelling, but math is 'turrible'.
(By the way, if you'd like I'm having a Q+A)

    1. What are you currently working on in math? Isn't it funny though, how when we go back a few years in math we wish for those days when it was "easy," but it really wasn't easy when we did it. ;) Don't worry, we'll get through all this math. ;)

  6. Algebra II isn't that bad-- I'm currently in Pre-Calc (our math line up is weird; it goes from Pre-Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calc with Trig, and then AP Calc) and honestly, I don't mind it. Yes, it get frustrating at times, but simultaneously, it's hard for me to imagine life without some higher form of math being present at a certain time. :P Is that weird?

    xoxo Morning

    1. Well, that's good to know! ;) huh, I've never heard of it done that way. Doesn't it get confusing when you do the algebra out if order? ;) Hahaa, really? I think it'll be lovely to not have to be required to do math when I graduate. Math takes up most of my time. :P What is your favorite thing in math?

  10. That's... a lot of problems. o.o A lot. o.o ACK. I despise math. I don't get it, and I KNOW I won't go into anything related to math for my life, so learning it is just. Blah. :P
Math and science. Basically all the logical type of things aren't for me. I'm more of a writing/creative type of person.
