shopping at hobby lobby || shattered glass

Wednesday, June 15, 2016

Yesterday my sisters and I met up with my friend Hannah (from the Relentless Daydreamer) and her sister to go

on a shopping trip to Hobby Lobby. Like, how awesome can you get?!

*smash*

"That didn't sound good," I glanced at the sound of shattering glass in the distance.

"Yeah," Hannah added, "hope it wasn't someone we know. That would be embarrassing."

uh. It actually was someone we knew. But, uh, that person will remain nameless. lololol.

After drooling over everything at Hobby Lobby, (I ended up buying a sword charm and chain to make a

necklace), we headed over to Steak and Shake and got some fries and shakes. (I got a heath shake. NUM.)

oh, and we of course, had to take some pics with my new dslr, (it goes with me everywhere).

have you ever broken glass in a store?

what kind of shake is your favorite?

  3. Ahh, sounds like a really fun day! Hobby Lobby is awesome -- I get allll my yarn for crochet projects there. :) And I've met the founder, Mr. Green, at an event for some family history that Hobby Lobby sponsored. :)

Ooh, speaking of shakes, we were at some friends' house last night, and the homemade shakes they served us were THE BEST. *mouth waters* They were just sososo good. ^.^

And yes, my DSLR pretty much goes everywhere with me, too. :) You never know when a good photo opportunity might come up! :D

I didn't know you had a dslr! YOU SHOULD TOTALLY START A BLOG. What kind of dslr do you have?? Totally! Often when you don't bring it along, it seems like everything would make an awesome pic. ;)

    2. Yes, allllll the art supplies. :)

I do. xD I'm actually an amateur photographer -- I've been really into it for the past two years. As for my camera, I think I have a Canon Rebel SL1. I saved up for it for a very long time and bought it a year ago. :) It's really lightweight, and yet it takes amazing pictures. I love it! :D

Aww, and thank you. :) Maybe one day I'll start a blog for writing and photography, but for now... :)

  5. I don't think I have, but one time, we were at Hobby Lobby, and my younger brother knocked a glass plate off a shelf. It was so weird, because up until that point I thought that "slow motion" was just a dramatic emphasis, haha, and IT HAPPENED AS I WATCHED THE PLATE GO DOWN, and it was terrifying. We didn't have to pay though. The lady we told about it was just like, "Oh happens all the time. Go enjoy yourselves." Lol :).

    1. While we were there three people broke stuff! They have a lot of glass there so they are probably used to it. lol!! At least she was understanding. ;)

  6. I'd never actually smashed glass before! But I remember this one time when a friend and I were in the library, messing around with the smart board that was mainly meant for teens. We kept pressing on it so much that the screen froze and turned blue, so the two of us looked at each other and were like, "Yup, walking away!" It was the most hilarious thing ever. Luckily, we didn't break the board, though!!!

    xoxo Morning

I just found your blog! I like it! My favorite kind of shake is chocolate malt, and yes! I have broken glass in a store (it was a Christmas ornament in a package we were going to buy, but while standing in line for checkout I dropped it!! :O )
    Ha-ha!

    1. Thanks so much! <3 I've never had a chocolate malt, BUT IT SOUNDS SO GOOD. oh, whoopss! At least you were going to buy it, right?? ;) I think I'm always afraid of dropping something, so I always get a firm grip on it. hahaa. Paranoid of breaking something that isn't mine I guess. ;)
