THREE SIGNS YOU ARE A PROCRASTINATOR -
// 1. you have 173084278038242 things to do rn and aren't doing them just cuz

// 2. you mentally give yourselves these excuses -
"I'll have time LAATTTTEERRR"
"gee, it's FOREVER away until that deadline"
"I'll do that. In a minute."

// 3. you are reading this post
me:
now, what kind of procrastinator are you cuz im pretty sure you are one like c'mon lets be honest people
// a list maker procrastinator - you make a list to feel accomplished, look at the list and go -
// a super power procrastinator - you have the skills to procrastinate until the day-before-the-deadline and still complete it YOU HAVE SKILLS

^^ or you don't even complete what you are procrastinating - or better yet YOU FORGET COMPLETELY ABOUT DOING IT and then someone comes to you more than likely a sibling or friend *cough* and asks if you forgot it and you are like -
// a total-opposite-of-a-procrastinator-person - basically, you don't procrastinate how and get things done super quick and leave your guilty conscience behind you

- - - - -

honestly, I don't procrastinate things often. although, it does depend on the thing.
like how it's halfway through the month and I've only done a bit of plotting and how i kinda procrastinated this post and that's how this all started I ADMIT IT OKAY. sometimes I fool myself with the "wow it's forever until that deadline I don't even have to worry about it" and then i question my sanity later xP well, I'm off to go accomplish some stuffs.

so tell me - what kind of procrastinator are you??
or are you not even one?? share your secrets xD

  1. XD I am on the highest level of procrastinating. I am probably a mixture of the procrastinate-until-right-before-the-deadline-and-get-it-done-in-five-minutes type and the make-a-list-and-frown-at-it type. I seriously procrastinate for a hobby or something. And, yes, I am procrastinating right now by reading this post. Ya caught me red handed. :P

  3. I'm definitely a procrastinator. The thing is, I'll be so engrossed in something, that I totally forget I have responsibilities.
I've been doing a little better lately. We are in a musical and the choreography is really tricky, so I've actually been practicing almost every day.

    1. ohhh yeah, I can have that. like have one project that I spend 1734081314329 hours on. #whoops I'm a perfectionist with some things so yeah...lol.

well, that's good! it's great when you can make new habits like that XD

  4. I honestly don't know what type of procrastinator I am??? I'm probably the shove-everything-till-the-last-minute-and-punish-self-for-it procrastinator. Yesterday I didn't spend thirty minutes on my novel like I'd wanted to... so I stayed up thirty minutes doing it. My sleep suffered. XD

  5. Most of these apply to me; whoops! I do enjoy ticking off lists though, I find that I wake up feeling motivated or sluggish and that feeling usually predicts what I'll complete in the day.

You have a beautiful blog ♥

  6. LOL, I procrastinate reading through all of the posts in my Blogger feed but then also remembered I won't be in the blogging world for a bit for reasons! Speaking of procrastination, I'm leaving tomorrow evening but I haven't even packed... oh dear. ^.^'

LOL girl - that's crazy!! I have to say tho, sometimes you need items that have to be packed so you can't pack TOO early on anyways haha XD

  9. I feel like #3 can't really apply to me because it's SATURDAY. But I'd read your posts either way--procrastinating or not. ;)
I HAVE been known to procrastinate from time to time. I have to agree with you--it depends on the thing. I've learned my lesson with piano and violin. You just look at your teacher like "whoops. sorry. guess I didn't practice." *insert cheesy grin* Definitely looking at the two-month-away deadline and feeling I have all the time in the world. Chae and I wrote our graduation speech a night or two before. It went...surprisingly well. ☺ LOL
Great post, Sarah. It makes one re-evaluate. ;)

    1. TRUTH. I love saturday *can't wait for it to come again* it seems like the week is so stuffed and the weekend is like SO FAST. xP XD

It's pretty easy to procrastinate something like that when you have less of a deadline...then again, I've barely plotted and I have a strict deadline. whoops.

      thanks, girlie!! <33

  10. Me: Writes a schedule down to be productive.
Opens blogger and ends up procrastinating by reading this post.
Me: Has procrastinated until the last day right now, but am almost sure to finish on time because I always finish under pressure.
Also me: I absolutely hate this way of life, and tell myself I will get over it somehow. It's not like I don't even want to do the things, it's just... how did I forget to do them before it was close enough to the deadline that I'm now going to avoid it until I can't any longer, just because the thought of being so far behind is making me hide from it? What eve... haha.

So, now that you've identified procrastinating (and seen that I fit in all categories), the sequel would be ways to motivate no longer procrastinating, right?

    1. I hate it when that happens. it's like: IMMA GO BE PRODUCTIVE
      five mins later: NOPE.

ahahhaaaha - that sequel could be interesting. then again, I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THERE WAS A WAY TO SOLVE PROCRASTINATION *laughs*

  11. I am a procrastinator. *hangs head* But it seems like it's different every time. Like sometimes I don't mean to. But I guess most of the time I'm a super power procrastinator. :) Cuz somehow I manage to get things done? :P

  12. WHAT WHO ME? nah fam. i am a very organized mushroom with my life figured out by the 5 minute table.

Actually I'm that person that, left to my own devices i'm pretty okay with managing projects/my time/etc. But once someone tells me to do something, or mentions it to me, or tries to apply pressure... that's when i roll my eyes and neglect whatever it is. obviously it's a pride problem haha but i just don't like being told what to do... especially when I'm already aware of it and have my own plans on when to start it. but that's just me x)

Great post as always you queen.

      aww, thanks, Jasmine! <33

  13. Oh, I'm definitely a procrastinator! But some things I can do easier than others...I procrastinate on writing, blogging, school, chores, EVERYTHING! XD Except drawing, I can almost always draw... *thinks about unfinished projects* Um...maybe not actually. o.O
    Great post! :D

    1. honestly, if I schedule stuff like blogging and have a to-do list, it's more likely I'll complete stuff. the problem is, I keep writing "plot" on my to-do this and I guess I'm just so used to it being there and ignoring it, that I keep doing that. #whoops - thanks, Emma!

  14. I would say I am kind of a procrastinator and if I am I would definitely be the list procrastinator. I make these long lists of things I want to accomplish that day and then I almost never accomplish

    1. I've found that if my lists are TOO long, I'm less motivated to complete it. It just gets too overwhelming. I like to keep it to the "today gotta do" kind of list. XD

  15. this is such a fun post and i'm loving reading everyone's comments! :) okay so i don't usually procrastinate on big things like school projects, but i'm a huge procrastinator when it comes to little annoying tasks like returning library books, responding to emails, or getting gas. i always roll into the gas station on empty lol!

    1. aww, thank you!! haha, it is cool seeing how other people do things xD ohhh, that's actually the opposite for me?? I'll often procrastinate routine things...so I'll often get those things out of the way first XD and agh, yes, I'm horrible at replying to emails unless I do it right away. whoops. xP LOL that's crazy girl!! *laughs* XD

    1. LOL IKR LIKE WHY DID I EVEN SUGGEST SUCH A NOTION?? honestly, WHO procrastinates???

agh, that can be hard. SET SMALL GOALS. you can't hit it head on and expect yourself to be perfect right away. take small steps and soon it will become easier. YOU CAN DO IT AUTUMN xD
