lighting + thunder = rain || donuts for breakfast

Thursday, March 17, 2016

It was dark.
and I mean darrrrkkkk.
Pitch black to be exact. With flashes of blue now and again. Booms of thunder shook the house.
*ahem* you may have gathered there was a thunderstorm. Anddd, we lost power. It was night, or, er, early morning. (2:36 A.M. to be exact) I had brought my little sister in my bed because she woke from the storm.

"Lightning is quiet, and thunder is loud," she whispers in my ear, "and when you mix them together, it makes rain."
Me: "oh, really?"
"uh huh."

When a huge blue strike of lighting flashed in the room followed by a quake of thunder, she again whispers in my ear: "'That was the biggest thunder I ever heared" (a.k.a 'heard')

How can anyone get asleep in all that cuteness? She just wraps her arms around you and just snuggles in a ball. #soadorable

do you often lost power from storms?
do you like the dark?

  1. Oh my goodness, your little sister sounds adorable!!! Yum! Nothing better than donuts for breakfast! :P

    1. Oh, she is. XD donuts are the bestttt, though, quite fattening. :P

  2. Awww, your little sister sounds adorable! At least, the donuts made it better, in the end!

    xoxo Morning

    1. Thank you so much, I'll tell her you said so. ;) Hahaa, I didn't mind losing power so much. (I didn't have to do my late night math stuff) I've been doing extra math because I want to be ahead, so I have been doing it at night. Lol! XD

  3. I actually love storms, LOL! :) And your blog is amazing--I followed!

    1. hahaa, I don't mind them often. I'd just like to not lost power for days at a time. (thankfully we didn't this time!) Thank you so much for following! <3

  4. Yep, Been there! I LOVEEE storms, and I don't even know why! I just do.
I have been "trying" to do extra math, but I hate it! :(((((``
    (I like reading previous comments!:)

    1. hahaa, I used to not be able to sleep because I slept on a bunkbed on the top that had a slanted ceiling, so the rain sounded like hail. lol!
aw, it hasn't been that bad for me. ;)
(Julia always reads over my comments too, hahaa!)

  5. Ooooh, I love your new blog look! Very snazzy. :-)

Early morning thunderstorms can be fun!

  6. Aw, that reminds me of when my younger sister used to hop into my bed on stormy nights, and we'd chat until the storm went away, or we fell asleep. It's great when younger siblings grow up, but it's kind of sad too... How old is your little sister?

(Also, while we're on the topic of younger siblings, I just read Paige's comment about liking to read other people's comments - my siblings informed me the other day that they like to wait until people have commented on my posts before they read them. Obviously my posts aren't that interesting! :P You've got to appreciate younger sibling's honesty though. :)

    1. Aw, that's so sweet! It's so fun to have siblings to chat with, especially when they are close in age. XD

Hahahaa, that's funny because I don't often read other peoples comments on blogs. Lol! Oh, yes, you can always count on a siblings honesty. XD

    I WANT.

    1. Have you never has them for breakfast?! XD

*waves* hey there! thanks so much for commenting - just please remember to keep it clean <33
