wipeout || "are all those books yours?..."

Tuesday, March 01, 2016

Those few seconds when you go over the jump backwards and do a roll down the hill and finally you're just sprawled down at the bottom of the hill and you're just like, "did that just happen?"
Me: "I'm dead."
Julia: *from top of hill* "Hold still, let me take a pic."
Me: ......

Where we went sledding was right across the street from our library..so Julia and I hopped on over. Snowy stuff and all.
I hadn't been to the library for a while, so I uh, kinda got a lotta books. Just kinda.
Dad: "Are all those books yours?.."
Me: "Yeeaahhhhhh.."

Which reminds me, I have to order some more books. ;P

isn't sledding just awesome?
do you often get stacks of books?

  3. When I was younger I would have a library receipt of 20 books (it was a preeeety long receipt)! Ordering books from the library online is like shopping for exciting novels without buying them-yaaay! There's still snow where you live? Around here we've finally started warming up.

    1. hahaa, 20 is the norm for me. And I always read them and then have to reread before we go again. ;)

uh, yes. Seriously, we were dumped in about 8 inches today, (maybe more than that). EIGHT INCHES AND STILL SNOWING. :P It's so cold here and completely white. :P

    2. I try going down forward, but I end up backwards like three seconds after I start.
Yes! We're like, "It's about time they get new books in...." Especially when you've been going to that library since you were reading those Messy Bessy Books, Amelai Bedelia and Katie Couldn't books...lol;)

    4. SO DO WE!!! Lol! Well, the other one is a little farther away so we don't always go there. Plus it's in the city so we have to pay for parking and all that stuff. Well at one time, we were going to three....hehehe......they are just fantastic so you can't get enough of them.

    5. lol!! We've swapped over the past few years, because we had three libraries close by. You have to pay for parking?! Crazyyy! XD lol. Yeah, we clean out the libraries often. We also get movies from libraries, because we have Netflix and DVD's. Libraries are awesomeeee. XD How many books do you often get each time?

    6. Yes....and one time(just recently) the city changed it that you don't have to pay for parking on weekends. Well, we didn't know that because it was new, and my parents put the coins in and someone pulled up and said we didn't have to pay......well now we know:)
Oh, it always changes. Sometimes not as much and sometimes a whole bunch! My brothers and I are at the same reading level and we enjoy most of the same thing, so we'll swap books throughout the weeks.

  9. I've never seen that much snow in my life. Like ever. Southern problems. But books, that I understand. Although I usually just get them from the library or my sister's room. :)

    1. ...uh, that was barely any snow for us. ;P In fact, a few days after that we got another 8+ inches. lol! You can have ittttt.
Usually I get them from the library as well, hahaa, or my sisters room. Books are so expensive to buy, I don't know what I would do without the library. XD

    1. It sure is, I have so say, I prefer the medium size hills for sledding on. The other ones just go way too fast, and I always flip. lol. XD

  11. Sledding looks so cool! I'd try it, but I live in an area where it snows every few years, and even then it doesn't snow much. :( Ah! It's been such a long time since I've been to a library! Whenever I go to the library or the bookstore, I normally get 2-3 books! How many do you normally get?

    1. ...every..few...years?...that does sound nice. I do like snow sometimes though, I'd just prefer not getting huge drifts that are deeper than a foot of snow. ;P :D
Normally, I get around 20+, I reread a lot though. Actually, I've been keeping track of how many books I read a month, and so far the average is 16 books, each month I've read around 3,500 pages. XD

  12. "I'm dead." "Let me take a pic." <<<<< HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. ;-P

Why yes, I come home from the library with stacks of ten books at a time. Isn't that normal?

    1. Julia and I make a pair, don't we? XD

Aren't thick books so lovely? I usually get 20+ books on a normal day, I can't usually fit them all in my bag..nor on my shelves. They usually end up on the table in my room. lol! :D

  13. That picture is hilarious! It's probably what I looked like when I wiped out on a ski hill :P I had a pile of snow on my face and didn't know whether I was facing up or down. XD
Yes!! Books are awesome!!! I read them way too fast though :P

    1. hahaaa, I have to say, skiing has always scared me. Like, this sharp long sticks on your feet and you hold these poles that could poke your eyes out and wish off a steep slope. ;P I'd like to go cross country skiing sometime! Have you ever tried it?
I knowwwww, wayyyy too fastttt. It's like, "I wanna read this," but "ohhh, there isn't much left." XD

    2. 'Poles that can poke your eyes out?' lol :P I went on a trail that was cross country and it was fun, although it was very tiring :D
