me? a math teacher? HA || april snows

Saturday, April 09, 2016

So this Algebra thing. (Yeah, I know, again.) I'm memorizing this quadratic formula, (for which I have no reason

why).

Math teacher: "Because if someday you want to build a rocket—"

Me: Yeah, sure, rightttt.

Math teacher: "...become an engineer or a math teacher—"

Me: Especially not the latter.

Math teacher: "Even if you don't, it's handy to know this because you may use it someday in other life scenarios."

Me: ...why?...

Okay, okay, it's not that bad. I don't mind it too much, sometimes I even enjoy it. *distant gasping*

I'll trade algebra for geometry any day. Just keep geometry away from me.

For all you snoops out there, (hahaha, hello fellow snoop), you may have noticed my word count on the nano

site above. I actually have more since then. I'm at about 12k, though, I'll reach 13k today.

BTW where is spring? Or those 'April showers?' ...all I'm seeing is 'April snows.' :P

algebra or geometry?

has spring arrived where you live?

  2. I know you don't feel like this but, your so lucky! At least in my eyes you are. We got 1/2 inch of snow for 1 day in the past year. =P And you should come to where I live, you'd probably get sick of April showers. =D (we haven't had as much rain as normal this year though...)

    1. ...you are right, I don't feel lucky. LOL. Swap?? That it? 1/2 an inch? Like, woah. XD hahaa, yes, I suppose rain can get to be a lot. Especially when it makes the dirt roads all muddy. :P Sadly, spring is never as we imagine it, is it? ;)

    2. Yes, swap please. ;) Rain isn't so bad because of how much, it just gets old when it's drizzling. All. The. Time.
Ah, I would love to have a spring where it's always warm and pretty... either that or snow. Lol. Although I can see how snow would get boring if you have it a lot. Weather's actually been somewhat decent the past few days, it just seems like it can't make up it's mind.

    2. Nope, never! When we got a coating of ice everywhere once, it was a big thing. :D
And it's not that I hate algebra, it's just that I can't understand how you're going to ever use it in the future! Okay, I'll quit cluttering up your comments now. :P

    3. lol! Ice storms are no fun. A few weeks ago we lost power for around 15 hours because of one. :P
hahaaa, no kidding. XD aw, I love comments, don't worry about "cluttering" it up. ;)

  4. I'm RIGHT THERE with you on the math. They say we'll need it in life -- what I want to know is, when.

Spring arrived....but then it left again and now we have snow. ;-) Can we console each other about this?

Okay, so you know those water brush pens that we were talking about in a previous post? Well, my brother bought one and they are so awesome!! You need to buy one!! Especially if you like lettering. You have so much control!! I'm definitely saving up my pennies and buying one of my own!!

    1. hahaa. I hope spring comes soon. Ah, lovely spring and summer. XD

oooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhh, that sounds awesomeee. Do you know how much they cost? Do you just dip them in watercolors? XD They sound so cool!

    2. The prices vary. He bought his at micheals, so it was a little bit more. Usually they come in a pack of three, but he only bought one. Yes, you just squeeze it onto your watercolor and go from there!! No water cup involved at all! And it goes on so much smoother!

    3. That's so cool! I wonder how long they last.. :D Sounds awesome! I'll have to keep my eyes out for one of those. :D :D (BTW I'm saving the video link, I just don't normally post Youtube links on my blog. Youtube has way too many ideas. :P ) Does it use a lot of paint?

    4. So, you just fill the tube up with water, then squeeze it, and that's like dipping it into your water. That's why I was like, "waste of money" But it is way better than you think it is. The water actually went a long way! That video helped me understand it.
Yeah, I didn't expect you to publish that comment;) ;).
