I wrote a short story for a contest, and....well, let's just say I've never liked short stories. lol! I have too much

to tell, and there is no room for plot twists! I about died hitting the "send" button. Okay, not literally.. But close!

I have a really hard time showing others my writing (especially people I don't know!) and when its even worse

when I don't really love it myself. :P But I sent it in anyways. oh well, at least I tried. Any fellow writers out

there that have trouble showing their work?

Paper beads. Never heard of them? Look them up-you may get stuck. I know I did. ;) I've been cranking

them out like crazy, and will be sure to get some photos up soon!

A few days ago we had a campfire for the first time this year. Whoo! Thankfully, I wasn't mauled by the

mosquitoes. ;) S'mores are super good, especially if you add some Nutella. It's a must. ;)

P.S. Scriptophobia actually means "fear of writing in public" but I thought it was close enough. ;)

Have you ever made jewelry?

Bracelets or necklaces?
What are your thoughts on Nutella?

There is something about summer that just makes everything more..alive. I don't know what to call it, it's just everything is blooming and showing their beauty to the fullest. It really is amazing!

Lately I've been crazy. I'm getting through it, although it's only my first edit I'm working at it. After I finish that, I'll probably send it to some friends so they can critique (and encourage!) my novella. ;) I found this website: and it looks super amazing! Just if you want to get a few copies of your finished story, but don't want to publish it you can spend a few dollars and get a copy to hold in your hands!

The weather has been really nice, although yesterday it dropped from the 80s to the 50s. :P The lilacs have bloomed as have many other flowers, and our apple trees have many buds! Hopefully that means lots of apples! :)

What is your favorite part about spring?
Do you have any apple trees?

touching colors

A few days ago a beautiful (full) rainbow appeared right next to our house after raining a little. I've actually seen multiple of those in the past few years! It looked to close, that you could walk right into it. (I so wish I could have!) Such lovely colors, a beautiful reminder of God's promise to us. <3

Lately I've been crocheting, editing, cleaning, school and enjoying the greenness of the great outdoors. (It's finally starting to look like spring!) I've been getting over a cold, so I haven't been doing too much lately. :P I'm excited to see the lilacs blooming, the grass growing greener, the dandelions sprouting, and the green leaves finally popping out of the millions of buds making it look like spring. The weather has finally gotten should be in the 70-80s in the next few days, though slightly rainy. :) Oh, and time to go eat corn on the cob for the first time this year, whoo! I love spring. <3

Have you ever seen a full rainbow?
