journey before destination

Tuesday, November 8, 2016

it's funny. some things are just as you imagined them--and others, well, the best part was anticipating and dreaming of it. things aren't always what we imagine--but if we allow God to lead us wherever He leads us, we'll soon learn to love the journey, and not just anticipating the destination and being dissatisfied with were we are. right now. not where we'll be in a years, months, or even tomorrow.

it's not like we are always going to be perfectly content--of course not--but that doesn't mean we shouldn't strive to follow The Lord and be satisfied with our journey He's prepared for us.

I rly don't know where this came from but maybe one of you needed to hear it, or maybe I need it. all I know is, God's got His plan for you and me. He's got this.

  2. I drove (not personally cuz I can't drive, but in a car XP) through super thick fog on a mountain a week ago. It was so cool because we could only see like 100 ft in front of us, but also super scary because it was a two-way road O.O

but I love fog. There's something just so beautiful about it.

  8. Girl, definitely walk through the fog when you can! I remember particularly in fifth grade, every day when I had to walk behind the school to get to the entrance for the fifth and sixth graders, it was foggy to the point you can only see the ground several feet ahead of you. IT'S SO MYSTERIOUS BUT IT'S THE LOVELIEST THING.

    xoxo Morning

  14. SARAH. This post - and your PICTURES. They're SO pretty! (but I could be biased, because I LOVE fog :D) Waking up to a foggy morning is basically the best - make me want to write and read and stare out the window at all the prettiness *nodnod*.
